TRANSFORMATION, GAINING EDITION.

TRANSFORMATION, Gaining Edition.

Determine what is necessary for your goal.

There are countless transformation pictures floating around online of weight loss and reducing body fat. So, I think it is important to share this transformation of mine of putting on some body fat.

If you are a competitor and have gotten yourself to very lean body fat %’s it is important to remember that you cannot stay there forever. For your overall, long term health you need to get yourself out of that deficit and put on some body fat!

The picture on the left is me 1 week out from competition, 126.3lbs, super lean, no cycle, roughly 1,800kcals/day.

The picture on the right is me 3 months later, 135.2lbs, increased body fat, regular cycle, around 2,500kcals/day.

One picture is not better or worse than the other, they are both just different body compositions for different goals in life.

On the left, my goal was to be competitive on stage and that involved getting super lean. On the right, my goal is to increase lean tissue and get myself back to a ‘healthier’ state… that involves increasing body fat.

Determine your goal, determine what is needed to get there and ALWAYS look at the big picture.

Goals are not always about reducing body-fat.
