PER BAGEL:
16g Protein
25g Carbohydrate
0g Fat

 

Yum! Here’s another recipe for y’all… bagels with an extra kick of protein :) This recipe makes 4 bagels!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup Self-Rising Flour

  • 1 cup Non-fat Greek Yogurt

  • 1 Scoop Unflavoured Protein Powder

  • 50g Egg White

  • Everything Seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees

  2. Add the self-rising flour, non-fat Greek yogurt and protein powder to a mixing bowl

  3. Mix the three ingredients until the mixture is crumbly

  4. When the mixture is crumbly use your hands to form a ball of dough

  5. Separate the dough into 4 equal parts

  6. Add flour to your work surface so that the dough does not stick

  7. Roll each part of the dough into a line and connect it in a circle to form the donut shape

  8. When you have your 4 bagels formed add them to a baking tray with parchment paper

  9. Lightly brush the bagels with the egg white wash

  10. Top the bagels with the everything seasoning or another seasoning you prefer

  11. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until golden brown

  12. Once the bagels are done let them cool.

  13. Enjoy! 
