K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Silly.

Don’t Overcomplicate Things.

The fitness industry is full of confusing and conflicting information which does a really good job at making the idea of achieving your goals complicated, confusing, and sometimes a bit scary.

It does not need to be like this.

Complicating a training plan by adding things just for the sake of adding them, or to make the exercise or meal look fancy does just that… OVERCOMPLICATES IT.

It does not need to be fancy to work. You do not need to do a million exercises with drop-sets, supersets, and whatever else everyone is talking about to make progress. You do not need to drink BCAAs, fat-burners or take the newest supplement to achieve your goals.

Though some of these things may be beneficial to certain individuals, this needs to be determined on an individual basis as a part of a training plan.

So… before overcomplicating things let’s bring things back to the basics.

Step 1: Determine your goal

Step 2: Design the plan to achieve the specific goal

Step 3: Implement the plan and lifestyle/habit changes to achieve said goal and stick to it

Step 4: Make changes as needed based on real-world results and metric checks. (Ignore all the gimmicks and trends that are flooding social media and stick to your plan.)

Step 5: Achieve the goal and keep using the skills you have gained to help you maintain and continue to make progress for life.

Be clear with what you want to achieve and stick to your plan.
