HAPPY New Years Everyone!
New Year means a fresh start for a lot of people. It is the time for them to start working towards goals that have been put to the back burner for a while.

If the new year was your step to start working towards your goals, I want you to keep a few things in mind as you begin the process of working towards your goals.
Progress does not happen over night. Progress is slow, thinking you are going to have a transformation overnight is not a realistic thought to put in to your head.
Make sure you are checking the right metrics for your goal. The metrics that are being checked to track progress are goal dependent.
If you have a goal of Fat loss then forget about the scale, if that is something that you know is going to hold you up and cause you stress ‘THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW’ lol! The scale is one of the least important metrics to check for a Fat loss goal.Don’t base your success and progress off of what you see other people posting about and doing online. The progress you are making, no matter how slow, is amazing. I truly mean this. If you are moving in the direction you want and not moving backwards on your goal you are doing the right thing. Take pride in this and remember this. Don’t judge your success on others.
This can be a difficult one, but if you can do it you will never look back and be able to maintain your progress forever… implement lifestyle habit changes that will set you up for success in your daily routine. This is what is going to make it easy for you to maintain the goal once you have reached it. Crash diets, and 30-day challenges are not being built into your life. They are followed and then they are stopped and this vicious cycle continues. Find something that you can sustain long-term and you will be laughing.
Now, get started working towards your goals while keeping in mind these few points in the process!
