Can I have my cake and eat it too?
Something I’ve noticed is that a lot of people seem to be trying to find the best way to ‘diet’ without actually doing it.
What do I mean?
- not willing to sacrifice anything
- trying to find secret food substitutes
- supplements on the market
Here’s the story. If you have a goal of fat loss, you need an energy deficit, no question about it. You can’t trick the system, and if you have this as your goal some sacrifice is most likely necessary.
Yes, this may mean not indulging in your late night crunchy craving.
Yes, this may mean reducing your portion size.
Yes, this may mean saying no to certain things that you want.
Cause listen, if you are serious about the goal and want it within a specific timeline you will stick to it. I’m not saying to never enjoy these things ever again, but look at the picture, look at what you want to achieve and put two and two together.
This may seem harsh but that’s life baby lol…
Sacrifice may be necessary.
