Budget.

 

Budgeting is important to do.

 

Do you budget your finances? I’m assuming most do.

Well, your Caloric intake is no different than your financial budget (it’s just for a different purpose)!

If you spend too much you will be spending beyond your means (in surplus). If you consume more Calories than your maintenance, you are doing the same thing (although a surplus may be the goal).

You also have to make sure you are distributing your finances appropriately, x amt for hydro, y for phone bill… etc.

So, what you must do is determine your goal. Determine your Caloric budget you have to spend and then determine how you are distributing your Calories (this matters).

It doesn’t have to be rocket science, but thought does need to go into it!
